Xiaomi is bringing the Mi
Note 10 to India soon, possibly as a premium smartphone.
The Mi Note 10 comes with a
108MP Penta camera setup at the back.
The Mi Note 10 is powered
by the Snapdragon 730G chipset and runs on MIUI 11.
Xiaomi India is teasing another phone for India before 2019 closes
its doors and it could be coming to India soon. And it's a phone that could be
Xiaomi's second attempt this year to go for the premium segments where players
like OnePlus, Oppo, Realme and Vivo have ventured before. The phone in question
is possibly the Mi Note 10, as the teaser has so far only spoken about the
presence of a 108-megapixel camera and that's only present in this phone.
The Mi Note 10 is the best camera phone, at least on paper, in
Xiaomi's stable and it could come across as a gamechanger in the Indian
smartphone market, given that it comes with a 108-megapixel camera along with
four other cameras in the phone. The Mi Note 10 also comes with high-end
specifications for better performance, although not as good as the Redmi K20
Pro. And, it has premium looks to rely on.
Chances are that the Mi Note 10 is coming to India soon and if you
are looking to buy a premium camera smartphone, this could be a good choice.
Here's a brief look at what the Mi Note 10 has to offer.
Mi
Note 10: What's new for users
--The Mi Note 10 standout feature is the 108-megapixel Penta
camera setup. Xiaomi has used the 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HMX Bright
sensor that promises high-quality photos with better details and colours over other
sensors. Other than that, the Mi Note 10 also comes with a 12-megapixel
telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, a 5-megapixel camera with 5x optical
zoom, a 20-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. This is
almost like a Swiss Army knife for shutterbugs where you have all the cameras
at your disposal and you can use one in whichever way you want.
For selfies, the Mi
Note 10 gets a 32-megapixel camera that sits in a waterdrop notch on top of the
screen. For selfie addicts, it should yield good looking selfies.
When it comes to
specifications, the Mi Note 10 has second-best chipset after the Snapdragon
855. There's a Snapdragon 730G chipset at disposal to look after daily errands
paired with up to 6GB RAM. And as usual, Xiaomi's MIUI 11 will be present on
top with all the bells and whistles we have come to expect from Xiaomi phones.
--The Mi Note 10 may not be a
powerhouse but the camera could surely drain the battery highly. Hence, the Mi
Note 10 has been given a 5260mAh battery that should easily help it last an
entire day. And given that it's a big battery, Xiaomi has thrown in support for
30W fast charging, which should fill it up quickly.
--The Mi Note 10 is also the
only Xiaomi phone since the Mi Note 2 to feature a curved edge display on the
front along with thin bezels. The Mi Note 10 also has a premium glass body with
Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both the front and back.
Mi Note 10 price in
India:
The Mi Note 10 is an
expensive phone in Europe that costs almost Rs 42,000. In India though, Xiaomi
could bring it at a lower price to compete with the likes of OnePlus 7T, Asus
6z and other gaming phones. Hence, you can expect a price of approximately
above Rs 30,000 for the Mi Note 10 in India, which will put in the premium
category. However, Xiaomi could price it even lower, which means it could be
under Rs 30,000 as well. Right now, this is just speculation and we will have
to wait for the official announcement
